We have tried to make Tapestry as intuitive as possible but with so many options and features, you might sometimes need a bit of help to get going!

Below you’ll be able to find some of our most frequently asked questions but if you’re looking for something a bit more in depth you can find a full list of our tutorials detailing exactly how each feature works within your Tapestry account – just login, click on your name in the top right corner and go to ‘tutorials’.

You can find tutorials for Tapestry by logging into your account, clicking on your name and going to Help & Tutorials.

We also create lots of helpful resources for practitioners, like this podinar discussing how to get through an Ofsted inspection from different perspectives: Tapestry product support, Ofsted inspector and nursery manager.

The cost of Tapestry depends on how many active children you will have at any one time. Your options range from £53+VAT for 6 children for the year to £729+VAT for up to 400 for a year.

Yes! Simply click here to be taken to our trial request form. We’ll set you up with an initial two week trial which can be extended if you would like more time, or converted to a full account if you want to keep the work you’ve already put onto it.

All your data is stored online so you will need to access the internet to upload new content and to view what has already been added. Our apps do have offline capabilities though so you can see add observations through them to be uploaded later.

How strong your internet needs to be depends on how many of you are using it at once, how much you’re adding to Tapestry, and how much you’re moving around the site. Generally though we recommend at least 2mb per second.

We’re a small (but passionate and highly efficient!) team so we don’t have the resources to offer phone support, but if you send us an email we’ll be happy to help that way or give you a call back if it’s easier to get to the bottom of your query that way.

The school or early years provision who takes out the Tapestry subscription controls the data on the accounts. We do not sell or pass on any of the information in accounts to anyone and we do not use any of it for our own purposes. We take data protection very seriously.
