What is Tapestry?
Available both as a website and app, Tapestry is the Childhood Education Platform that provides comprehensive, award-winning tools to help you build strong relationships with families, and reduce barriers to engagement. You can document each child’s unique learning and development and streamline your planning, monitoring and reporting processes through EYFS to KS1 and 2, for mainstream and special provision.
Nurseries and childminders can also benefit from Tapestry’s Nursery Management Software, which provides clear, transparent and accurate invoicing, smart occupancy planning and in-app attendance registers for children and staff.

Thank you for your email, and for the Tapestry trial – I’ve had a chance to try everything we needed and it’s been absolutely perfect!
We have really enjoyed using Tapestry this year. It has really changed the way we work on a number of different levels. Obviously, there is a real strength in recording EYFS observations quickly and easily to ensure that we track and manage progress. This has extended into KS1 for those children that require working at that level. Secondly, we have used it to ensure that all children have an audience for their writing across the school. Every final piece of English work is published and celebrated – the parents enjoy seeing this and it means that poems or playscripts can actually be performed. Then we use it to reduce the burden on teachers and office staff to share high quality, memorable images for our website and newsletter. By having a simple newsletter tag, our admin staff can quickly see what pictures are available and update the newsletter and website quickly and easily. Finally we use it to manage our subject leaders impact of learning. By simple tags for subjects, including pupil leadership, we store all of our impactful images that can be filtered and tracked by subject leaders quickly and easily. We are really pleased in the way that it is working for us and it has, very quickly, become a tool that is embedded in our daily practice.
