Two new courses to help support your CPD

We are excited to share a couple of new courses with you this month on Tapestry CPD.

Firstly, Ben and Jules from our Education Team have created “Personal, Social and Emotional Development in a Child’s Fifth Year”. This course encourages educators to reflect on PSED and what that may look like for a typically developing child, as well as pedagogical approaches to support those working with children at this developmental stage.

Access the full course here.

Secondly, written by Carly Budd – founder of the Developmental Play Academy – we have “An Introduction to Developmental Play”.

Access the full course here.

A reminder about your renewal payments

A gentle reminder from the Tapestry finance team: if you are paying by BACS please ensure that the invoice number is quoted as the payment reference, and that a remittance advice or email is sent to bacs@eyfs.info.

A reminder about our Product Support Team

A reminder that our friendly Product Support team offer support 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (exc. Bank holidays).

As always, you can reach us by email on customer.service@eyfs.info for any queries or questions.

We aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours. As September/October is our busiest period, it may take a little longer, but rest assured we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Jack

Product Support Specialist and Education Advisor

Jack started his career in education as a volunteer in a Brighton-based Charity for children with motor disorders. After which he was hired as an assistant conductor. During his time there, he studied at the University of Brighton to qualify as a primary school teacher. After a short stint as a supply teacher, Jack got his first job teaching Year 6. He remained in that role for a few years before moving to Year 4.
Jack joined Tapestry in August 2019 after many hints from his former housemate and now manager, Emily. In his Product Support role, Jack can be found answering customer emails and offering Tapestry advice on the phone. As part of the Education Team, you'll find him writing articles, recording podcasts and offering words of educational wisdom while drinking mugs of coffee.
